Jabriya Laboratory is organized into departments that specialize in different categories of medical tests.

Clinical Chemistry & Hormones

This laboratory department performs various clinical chemistry & hormone tests to provide objective measurements of hormone levels and the chemical status of the body’s fluids and tissues that help doctors discern how well your body is functioning.

Hematology & Coagulation

This laboratory department performs the tests related to the cellular elements of your blood and body fluids – primarily red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets – as well as tests diagnosing and monitoring bleeding abnormalities, clotting abnormalities, and platelet disorders.

Tissue Typing & PCR

Tissue typing is crucial for avoiding mismatching of donor and recipient tissues during organ or bone marrow transplantation or platelet transfusions, which otherwise can lead to rejection of the tissues. In our laboratory department, we perform this type of evaluation using PCR-based tissue typing techniques.

Virology & Immunology

This department offers laboratory testing for viruses and virus-like agents as well as the examination of cellular immune responses, conditions, and products. Our diagnostic range includes viral isolation, serologic diagnosis of infectious and autoimmune diseases, allergy testing, and immunochemistry.

Microbiology

This department provides a variety of diagnostic types and methods of testing dedicated to the identification of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and parasites to diagnose and guide antimicrobial therapy in patients with infectious diseases.
